Bar Darling sits in the Marina at 2263 Chestnut Street. It channels Northern California’s lush woods and rugged coastline through warm woods, native greenery, and murals born of oak-redwood nostalgia. It’s the latest from the creators of April Jean, Peacekeeper, and Harper & Rye. Expect craft cocktails rooted in gardens—from carrot-saffron honey delights to olive-oil–washed martinis—all priced around $14. Food focuses on shareable comfort: brie bites, creative sliders (hello, lamb merguez), chicken skewers, and sweet finishes like cake pops and doughnuts. The space flexes. Inside feels cozy yet spacious, with zones—including a pool-table nook. Outside, the enclosed patio is shaded, heated, and pet-friendly. No bookings. Open Tue–Fri at 2 pm; weekends at noon, until 2 am.
