The convention center behind San Francisco's biggest weeks of the year. Three connected halls in SoMa, steps from Yerba Buena Gardens, and a straight run from the Marina by car or transit.
Moscone Center is the city's main convention and exhibition complex, named for Mayor George Moscone. It sits in the South of Market district, a short walk from Union Square, Yerba Buena Gardens, and the SFMOMA.
The complex is built around three buildings. Moscone North and Moscone South face each other across Howard Street and connect underground, while Moscone West stands a block away. A 2019 expansion added exhibit and meeting space and a new lobby.
When a big conference is in town, hotels near the venue sell out and prices climb. A room at Marina Motel keeps you out of the crush and within a straightforward ride of the doors.
